NOAA & Space Weather News {embedded} ~ BIG SUNSPOT ERUPTION: December 28, 2015 a big sunspot AR 2473 erupted, producing a slow, but powerful M1.9-class solar flare, with extreme UV. The extreme Ultraviolet radiation buffeted Earth’s atmosphere, causing fades & blackout of radio transmissions. A powerful CME [coronal mass ejection] is now Earth-directed, with solar storm cloud from the sun, to hit December 31st, probably producing an Earth geomagnetic storm. NOAA forecast 55% chance of more sun eruptions M or X from the same region of the sun ………………..
