Larry Taylor Note: Saturday night, December 17, 2016 saw howling polar vortex winds with 5F Sunday AM temperature. Trees and limbs down everywhere as ice, sleet made the limbs heavy and they fell [see above image] and had to just throw a coat over my colorful warm robe [see above] and move some tree tops so Darnette could go to town this Sunday morning. At 11:00am when Darnette left, the temp was 10 degrees on thermometer at front door and 10F in her pickup temp gauge —- too cold for old guys …………………
